Insomniac

from $1,500.00

I was in Salt Lake City visiting friends and decided I wanted to get a photo in the Bonneville Salt Flats which is about an hour and a half away. I figured watching tv in the salt flats would be interesting so I found a tv and borrowed a generator and extension cord. My friend Jen drove her van with me and all of my things to the salt flats.

The temperature was around freezing and it was very windy in the salt flats as the sun was setting. Jen helped me position the tv and then we plugged it in and turned it on. I tried a couple of different poses but this was by far the best. Later in photoshop I erased the extension cord. Special thanks to Jen for helping me get the supplies, transporting me and making sure I didn't die of hypothermia for this shot.

This is a limited edition print with only 20 being made at this size and material. This image is professionally printed with archival ink on Hahnemuhle fine art paper and are individually reviewed, signed, and numbered by Brian. Prices increase as editions deplete. Prints can ship worldwide. Additional sizes available upon request.
