Lunch Matted Print

from $65.00

While out in Chinatown with Phyllis the chicken, Sarah happened to see a window which reminded her she really needed to eat lunch.

This is an idea I have had for a long time. So long that my sister got me a fake chicken as a birthday present over a year ago so I could do this shoot. (Thanks for that by the way Rachel.) The idea that a chicken was so scared that it laid an egg (ie. it sh*t itself) was one that I thought was pretty funny but I wasn't sure if it would be noticed in a photo. I needed a window that stretched almost all the way down to the sidewalk to draw the eye down to the egg. Ryan and I were unable to find such a window but luckily photoshop let me dramatically lengthen the window for our shoot.

Special thanks to Ryan (@natalinoryan) for waking up early and traveling to Chinatown, dropping an egg in front of a restaurant, posing with Phyllis the chicken in the cold without a coat and cleaning up the dropped egg after the shoot.

This is an unlimited print that is professionally printed. Prints can ship worldwide. Additional sizes available upon request.
